The Compton Country Club Initiative (CCCI) is creating inclusive pathways to the game of golf in order to build character, yield opportunity, and cultivate legacy in Compton and beyond.
Established in 2023, Compton Country Club Initiative (CCCI) was founded by golf coach Chris Staples and APGA pro golfer, Aaron Grimes.
Inspired by the transformative role their now-closed childhood golf course played in their early golf journeys, Staples and Grimes committed to providing access, affordability, education, and skills development to underrepresented residents of Compton and its neighbors. Together, they founded CCCI to preserve the game and expand its impact in the greater Compton community.
As LA natives, Chris and Aaron are proud to make a lasting impact on the game and communities they love.
